I'm so glad you loved HUNGRY AUTHORS!! Wow - I am impressed with how much you were able to read this year in nonfiction. So many things on this list I want to read and haven't yet gotten to it! My husband is reading GHOSTED and also loves it.

I LOVED both Yellowface and Crying in H-Mart. I listened to Crying in H-Mart in audio and it was fantastic. You have a great list here (I'm with you on the pain of narrowing it down!). I'm especially interested in the Christian memoir titles you shared. Have you read "It Wasn't Roaring, It Was Weeping" by Lisa-Jo Baker? It's simply phenomenal!

Oh man…I had considered getting that one after hearing praise but never did. Guess now I definitely have to! :) it really does sound good!

I honestly didn’t think it was going to be for me when I picked it up. Boy was I happily surprised! I got it on audio and it’s one I would recommend to get on audio if you can (I’m sure the hard copy of the book is just as lovely, but I loved hearing the Afrikaans in her voice!)

I added several of yours to my list! I do listen to a ton of audiobooks and have read Greenlights — his voice is great but I also find the entire book bizarre 😂

I try to read actual books as often as possible but my time is extremely limited being the care giver. If you are impressed by "word smiths" for a fiction read try any one of Dean Koontz's offerings. I've read everything of his that my library offers (since I rarely buy books cause then they just sit on a shelf).
